What you'll do Lead efforts to establish and uphold best practices for data streaming, processing, analytics, and monitoring infrastructure.
Deploy and oversee services on Kubernetes platforms, specifically Amazon EKS and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Utilize Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Enterprise Actions to facilitate automated deployments and testing.
Work with cloud-native data services, including AWS Kinesis, AWS Glue, Google Dataflow, Google Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and BigTable.
Use workflow orchestration services like Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Composer.
Create and manage automation scripts and tools in Python to support DevOps workflows.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance service reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Analyze and optimize cloud expenses, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
Ensure adherence to security policies and best practices in cloud environments.
Promote the adoption of company standards and guide data teams to align with best DevOps and SRE practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance development workflows and infrastructure.
Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role.




Extensive experience with AWS and GCP data services, including Kinesis, Glue, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
Proficient in deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) in production settings.
Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Strong expertise in managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Enterprise Actions.
Programming skills in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
Solid understanding of SRE principles, including performance monitoring, incident response, and reliability engineering.
Experience with strategies for optimizing cloud costs.
Self-driven with the ability to influence and implement changes across various teams.
Capable of working collaboratively in an agile environment and supporting multiple teams.
Nice to have Experience with data lake architectures and big data processing frameworks, such as Apache Spark, Flink, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues, including Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Composer.
Understanding of service mesh technologies such as Istio.
Experience with GitOps workflows and Kubernetes-native tools.
