About the role Igg is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience and interface design for our mobile gaming products. As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with game developers, product managers, and other designers to create engaging and intuitive interfaces that enhance player satisfaction. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a significant role in delivering high-quality gaming experiences that resonate with our audience.

What you'll do Design and develop user interfaces for mobile games, ensuring they are visually appealing and user-friendly.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback, which will inform design decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
Maintain design consistency across various platforms and devices, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.




Develop and maintain design specifications and guidelines to ensure clarity and consistency in the implementation of designs.
Analyze user behavior and feedback to iterate on designs and enhance the overall user experience.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas that align with the game's vision and objectives.
Collaborate with marketing and community teams to ensure that the design aligns with branding and promotional strategies.
Assist in creating engaging visual content for social media and other marketing channels to promote the games.
Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to help them grow in their roles.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the mobile gaming industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, particularly in mobile applications or games.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions effectively.




Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with game design principles and an understanding of player psychology is a plus.
Nice to have Experience with motion design and animation for mobile interfaces.
Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
Understanding of accessibility standards and how to implement them in design.
Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of mobile gaming trends and user preferences.
Skills & tools Proficient in design software: Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
Familiar with prototyping tools: InVision, Marvel, or similar.
Knowledge of user research tools: UsabilityHub, Optimal Workshop, or similar.
Solid understanding of design systems and component libraries.
Ability to create responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes.
Practical notes This position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and may require occasional travel for team meetings or conferences.
The role may involve working flexible hours to accommodate collaboration with international teams.
