As a full time Tractor Technician at Bison, you will collaborate with mechanics and the Service Coordinator to ensure efficient preventative maintenance and repairs. Your role requires strong diagnostic skills, time management abilities, and a commitment to supporting and mentoring Apprentices during their training. Bison values quality service to our drivers and the overall performance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and perform repairs on tractors in the fleet
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator and other mechanics




• Support Apprentices throughout their training and development
• Maintain paperless work order entries and documentation

Requirements:
• Must be a Licensed Tractor Technician
• Experience working as a Heavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician
• Ability to manage time effectively in repairs
• Strong customer service skills towards drivers
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to work unsupervised
