Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Applications Architect tosupport the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applicationarchitectures within a large and complex environment. The successful candidatewill be responsible for defining application structures, system interactions,integration patterns, and architectural standards while ensuring scalability,security, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities Definethe overall application architecture, including logical components,relationships, and system interactions.

Establishapplication structures, reusable components, quality metrics, softwarelayering, and interface standards.

Design,implement, and manage cross-platform applications within large distributedenvironments.

Monitorsystem architecture to understand interactions among components and definesource code limitations and requirements.

Defineand document interactions between application packages, databases,middleware, and integration platforms.

Developenterprise architecture deliverables including models and supportingdocumentation.

Contributeto application architecture design using structured methodologies,modeling tools, and best practices.

Supportarchitecture initiatives involving cloud, on-premises, and hybridenvironments.

Participatein solution design activities involving integrations, databases,middleware, APIs, and application services.

Required Qualifications General Skills Experiencedeveloping and implementing application architectures.

Extensiveexperience with multiple computing platforms, operating systems,databases, programming languages, and communication protocols.





Experienceworking with middleware technologies and gateways.

Experiencewith structured design, development, and implementation methodologies.

Extensiveexperience in systems analysis and design within large enterpriseenvironments.

Experienceusing development tools, CASE tools, information retrieval packages,project management software, and business process improvement tools.

Experiencewith data and process modeling methodologies, metadata structures,repositories, and data dictionaries.

Experiencedeveloping enterprise architecture deliverables and models.

Awarenessof emerging information technology trends and industry direction.

Stronganalytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, negotiation,and interpersonal skills.

Provenability to work collaboratively and meet project deadlines.

Technical Skills Experiencewith Agile methodologies.

Experiencewith on-premises and cloud integrations using MuleSoft or similarintegration platforms.

Experiencewith cloud technologies including Azure or AWS.

Experiencewith cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and solution architectureprinciples.

Experiencewith Java and Microsoft .NET technologies.

Experiencewith SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud-based databases including structuredand unstructured data platforms.

Experiencewith Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, or similarservices.

Experiencewith REST APIs, integrations, and web/lightweight application development.

Experiencewith Azure, Dynamics 365,



and Power Platform.

Experiencedeveloping application models and architecture designs.

Experiencewith Web API development, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL,DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experienceworking within Agile environments using Kanban or task boardmethodologies.

Knowledgeof object-oriented analysis and design techniques.

Experiencedeveloping enterprise architecture deliverables and models.

Knowledgeof Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.

Experiencedesigning detailed functional and technical requirements.

Experienceleading multi-tier application infrastructure design, documentation, andconfiguration.

Experiencedesigning, developing, implementing, and maintaining large, complexenterprise applications, workflows, and energetic forms.

Priorpublic sector experience.

Work Arrangement 5days onsite in Toronto, Ontario.
