Position SummaryNorthern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Fort St. John Primary Care team. This full‐time position offers flexibility and the chance to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages. The NP will attach a patient panel and contribute to a collaborative, culturally safe care environment supported by physicians, other nurse practitioners, primary care assistants, and an interprofessional team.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population.Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and care coordination.Collaborate with a supportive team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals.Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications & SkillsEligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Nurse Practitioner.Experience in primary care across the lifespan.Strong clinical assessment and decision‐making skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Commitment to culturally safe and trauma‐informed care.Additional Qualifications (Detailed)Completion of BCCNM approved Master's degree level nurse practitioner program.Eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).Ability to communicate and collaborate with patients/clients/residents and families about health findings, diagnosis, treatment, self‐care and prognosis.Ability to collaborate,
