This position will involve acting as the main liaison for designated accounts, with a strong emphasis on fostering growth within the energy, mining, and utilities sectors. What you'll do Serve as the primary point of contact for your designated accounts, managing the complete customer lifecycle and relationship management strategy.
Engage in frequent client interactions, prioritizing in-person meetings with key decision-makers, including Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Data Officers (CDOs), and operational leaders.
Implement a structured sales methodology to consistently generate pipeline growth on a weekly basis, transitioning use cases from initial proof of concept to full-scale production.
Create and execute detailed account plans aimed at expanding the company's presence through disciplined program management practices.
Navigate complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders, ensuring that revenue and activity targets are consistently met or surpassed.
Maintain accurate records and forecasting by regularly updating Salesforce with pertinent information regarding business value, timelines, and technical requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, including solutions architects and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and support for customer needs.




Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and establish new relationships.
Provide insights and feedback to the product team based on customer interactions and market demands.
Champion customer success initiatives to ensure that clients achieve their desired outcomes with Databricks solutions.
Requirements A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise technology sales, demonstrating a consistent ability to exceed sales quotas in fast-paced environments.
A proven history of selling to the oil and gas, utilities, or mining sectors within Western Canada.
An established network of senior decision-makers and executives in relevant industries.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience that showcases relevant skills and knowledge.
Strong ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, including solutions architects and senior management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Nice to have Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.




Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and machine learning technologies.
Knowledge of Generative AI and its applications in business contexts.
Previous experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for sales management.
A background in consulting or technical sales roles would be advantageous.
Skills & tools Proficient in data warehousing techniques and business intelligence solutions.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on leveraging analytics for decision-making.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and its deployment in enterprise environments.
Understanding of machine learning principles and their application in real-world scenarios.
Knowledge of Generative AI and its potential impact on business operations.
Experience with Salesforce for managing customer relationships and sales processes.
