Qualifications:

Medical Office Administration Diploma or equivalent required; knowledge gained through past experience.

Qualified applicants must possess word processing computer experience in a hospital information system.





Previous experience using at least two of the following Meditech Modules (Admissions, Community-Wide Scheduling, Emergency Department Management and Order Entry) is mandatory.

Admitting/Registration experience preferred.

Demonstrated accurate typing skills with typing speed of at least 40 w.p.m. is required (testing will be conducted).

Medical terminology and accurate spelling is required.

You must be able to work independently in a busy environment with valuable public relations skills while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks is essential.

Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and performance required.
