What you'll do Operate the Challenger 604/605 aircraft in accordance with all regulatory and company standards, ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance.
Conduct pre-flight inspections and briefings, ensuring all systems are operational and ready for flight.
Lead and manage the flight crew, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground personnel to ensure smooth operations during all phases of flight.
Develop and implement flight plans, taking into account weather conditions, air traffic, and other factors that may affect the flight.
Monitor and manage in-flight systems and equipment, making real-time decisions to ensure passenger safety and comfort.




Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, addressing their needs and preferences during the flight.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the aircraft is well-maintained and any issues are addressed promptly.
Conduct post-flight debriefings with the crew to review performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements Valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with type rating for Challenger 604/605.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pilot-in-command on multi-engine jet aircraft.
A minimum of 2,000 total flight hours, with at least 1,000 hours in jet aircraft.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety procedures, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Proven ability to make quick decisions under pressure and in challenging situations.




Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by flight schedules.
Familiarity with flight planning software and aviation communication tools.
Nice to have Previous experience in a corporate aviation environment.
Additional type ratings on other aircraft.
Experience with international flight operations and customs procedures.
Knowledge of advanced avionics systems and flight management systems.
Proficiency in a second language, enhancing communication with diverse passengers.
Skills & tools Proficient in using flight planning and navigation software.
Robust technical skills related to aircraft systems and operations.
Familiarity with safety management systems and risk assessment tools.
Ability to utilize weather forecasting tools and interpret meteorological data.
Competence in using standard aviation communication equipment and protocols.
Practical notes This position is based at Edmonton International Airport, Alberta, and may involve travel to various destinations.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and possess the necessary certifications and licenses.
