- Valid Class DZ License in Good Standing Required
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience operating heavy equipment and large trucks, minimum 6 months experience
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 kgs and work in outdoor conditions all year
- Ability to follow route and work
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and follow up policies
- Ability to maintain qualified attitude

What will you be doing?

- Collect residential garbage using the sanitation truck
- Operate loaders and compactors for landfill maintenance
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Guide residents to correct landfill disposal areas
- Enforce waste diversion rules per Municipal by-law
- Maintain public drop-off area and conduct litter patrols

40 hours per week @ $33.86 per hour
