We help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and success by guiding them through ultra‐regulated markets with leading professional advice and guidance.Role DescriptionThe Account Executive role is a full‐time, on‐site position based in Toronto, ON.The Account Executive will manage client relationships, serve as a primary point of contact, and coordinate consulting engagements from initial discovery through project completion. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting needs assessments, preparing proposals, and presenting CannDelta's regulatory and scientific services to prospective and existing clients. The individual will collaborate closely with consultants to scope projects, track deliverables, and ensure client satisfaction and retention. Additional tasks include maintaining an organized sales pipeline, providing regular updates to leadership,
and contributing to strategic growth initiatives in regulated and innovative industries.QualificationsClient relationship and account management skills, including the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and maintain long‐term partnerships.Business development and sales skills, such as prospecting, lead qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.Organizational and project coordination abilities, including managing timelines, documenting activities, and collaborating with cross‐functional consulting teams.Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey complex regulatory and scientific concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.Analytical and problem‐solving skills, with comfort working in regulated and technical environments and learning new frameworks quickly.Proficiency with CRM tools and common office software (e.G., Microsoft Word, spreadsheets, presentations, and document management platforms).Bachelor's degree in business, science, public policy, or a related field; experience in consulting, regulated industries, or professional services is a strong asset.Ability to work on‐site in Toronto, ON, manage multiple priorities, and operate with integrity and respect in a diverse, inclusive workplace.Salary & BenefitsCompensationThis role carries a $150,000 OTE ($50,000 base + target commission)
with realistic first‐year total earnings up to $125,000 during the ramp‐up period. Commissions are uncapped with accelerators after hitting quarterly goals. Your commissions are paid monthly against quarterly targets that ramp as you move through onboarding and training; your quota grows with your skills and pipeline, and there's no ceiling on what strong performers can earn.You'll sell into a solid inbound funnel fed by our websites, trade shows, and webinars, so you'll spend more of your time closing warm opportunities.
