Lead sustainability initiatives as the Workplace & Sustainability Manager with Heidelberg Materials in Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Focus on compliance and environmental performance.In this vital role, you will support Heidelberg's construction materials operations by managing environmental compliance and performance activities. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and experience in industrial settings.



You will work closely with management to implement strategies that promote environmental best practices and ensure compliance with regulations.Key Responsibilities:Manage environmental permitting and impact assessmentsCoordinate environmental compliance documentation and reportingOversee due diligence assessments for land transactionsEnsure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirementsConduct inspections and follow up on corrective recommendationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Environmental or related disciplineExperience with construction materials or heavy industriesKnowledge of environmental legislation and practicesStrong analytical and communication skillsDedicated to improving sustainability performanceChampion environmental standards and compliance initiatives with Heidelberg to support sustainable development in the Southern Prairies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
