About the role
In this position, you will play a crucial role within the Enterprise Post-sale team by focusing on strengthening and expanding relationships with our restaurant partners across Canada. Reporting directly to the Engagement Manager Lead, your primary responsibility will be to support strategic growth initiatives and foster long-term partnerships with major restaurant merchants.
You will serve as a key point of contact for these partners, ensuring their needs are met and their experience with Door Dash is optimized. This role requires a proactive approach to relationship management, a strong understanding of the restaurant industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive mutual success.

What you’ll do
- Develop, nurture, and strengthen strategic relationships with restaurant merchants to support revenue growth, focusing on initiatives such as marketing campaigns, operational improvements, and partnership expansion.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and other key decision-makers within partner organizations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, including marketing, product, and operations teams, to develop solutions that meet merchant needs and enhance their experience on the Door Dash platform.
- Act as a liaison between merchant partners and Door Dash leadership, facilitating communication, aligning strategic goals, and ensuring that partner feedback is incorporated into product and service improvements.
- Use internal tools, data, and resources to analyze merchant performance, identify opportunities for growth, and troubleshoot operational issues to improve overall partner satisfaction.
- Support onboarding processes for new merchant partners, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the Door Dash ecosystem.
- Monitor key performance metrics related to merchant partnerships, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
- Drive initiatives to increase merchant engagement and retention, including targeted outreach and personalized support strategies.
- Identify opportunities for new partnership development and collaborate with sales and business development teams to onboard new restaurant partners.
- Provide ongoing support and strategic guidance to merchants, helping them maximize their presence and sales on the platform.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and strategic reviews to internal stakeholders and merchant partners to communicate performance, opportunities, and strategic plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or consulting, preferably within the restaurant, logistics, or marketplace industries.
- Proven track record of managing complex partnerships and driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and deriving actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with data visualization tools are highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions, demonstrating strong teamwork and leadership qualities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus.
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry, food delivery, or logistics sectors is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth and managing strategic partnerships in previous roles.

The compensation package includes a base salary plus commission opportunities, aligning with the company's pay structure.
Door Dash offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, wellness advantages, and health insurance coverage.
The base salary for this role ranges from $129,000 to $161,250 USD, with total on-target earnings (base plus commissions) estimated to be between $172,000 and $215,000 CAD.
The role is based on-site in Toronto, ON, and requires working at the office location.
