Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/RPN) – Casual Position in "North Sarnia". Provide client‑centered nursing care in clients’ own homes.

Work Hours & Schedule

Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, every other weekend required. Also on‑call rotation for 1–2 nights per week after orientation.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide client care using observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching; act as nurse in charge as needed.
- Provide care according to the established care plan, ensuring emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety within scope of practice.
- Perform routine nursing duties per company policies and provincial standards.
- Perform specialized nursing procedures for which training and competency have been demonstrated.
- Observe and document client conditions and changes per standards.
- Understand and implement infection prevention practices.
- Participate in ongoing continuing education activities.




- Adhere to Bayshore policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in proactive health & safety activities and notify supervisor of risks.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information, sharing only with authorized personnel.
- Complete other tasks as requested.

Education & Eligibility

- Graduate from an accredited/recognized School of Nursing (evidence required).
- Current RN or RPN registration in good standing.
- Valid CPR certification.

Requirements

- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Upon hire: transparent criminal background check with vulnerable‑sector screening; proof of TB negative; two supervisory references; proof of required vaccinations; medical exemptions considered on case‑by‑case basis.
