investigating any discrepancies found and following through to problem resolutionLog all orders/receiving into a computerized inventory system and stock supplies and assist in maintaining all appropriate documentationAccountable for problem resolution for non-receipts forwarded from Accounts PayableResponsible for ensuring shipments are distributed to the correct locationsMaintenance of clean working environment including daily tidying of stock shelvesLoad and unload supplies from transport trucks using a forklift if requiredConduct stock rotationResponsible for receiving and preparing orders for all Dynacare locations, physician's offices, and internal departments as per established guidelinesPerform daily delivery runs to various internal departmentsAssist with the physical set up of equipment and furniture when requiredResponsible for returns to vendors and following established protocolsMaintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentationParticipate in breakout teams to investigate discrepancies and assist in streamlining processesIdentify discrepancies in stock levels and forward information to the appropriate partiesCoordinate returns to vendors by obtaining RAN numbers and proof of pick-upParticipate in departmental inventory counts and investigate discrepancies associated with itResponsible for regular cycle counts as instructed by Manager or Inventory AnalystResponsible for assembling all kits as required and for restocking the components required for the assemblyResponsible for the assembly of Tripath Kits dailyEnsure that all flammable and hazardous materials are safely and properly handled and storedAssist with keeping up-to-date records on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all hazardous materials handled in the laboratoryResponsible for ensuring that any hazardous materials transferred to smaller canisters are properly labeled in accordance with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS) guidelinesEnsure correct safe usage of equipment is employed when equipment is in useResponsible for the collection and replacement of bio-hazardous bins from various internal departments as and when requiredResponsible for exchange of gas cylinder tanks if requiredEnsure the cleanliness of the warehouse and provide support for any routine cleanups as necessaryResponsible to protect one's own health and safety by reporting hazards and working in compliance with established safe working practicesPerform duties in accordance with established company policy and procedureWhat YOU bring to the role:Secondary school or equivalent education requiredPrevious experience in computerized inventory environment (Oracle experience is an asset)1 to 2 years related experience in distribution environmentDemonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced picking/packing environmentAbility to lift 50 to 70 poundsAble to work on feet for a long period of timeNice to Have:Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate (may be obtained through Dynacare)MHE certifiedWorking conditions:Lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing and working in uncomfortable positionsStrains from use of large muscle groupsManual dexterity, climbing, standing, stooping, sitting and using fine motor skillsAble to work on feet for a long period of timeAbility to lift 50 to 70 poundsWork is performed in a warehouse settingSubject to seasonal variations in temperatureNoise and fumes from dock and lift truckNumerous phone calls and interruptionsExposure to bio-hazardous material, dangerous chemicals and explosive cylindersPay range: $19.50 - $21.50 per hourThe hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.At Dynacare, we may leverage AI-powered tools in our recruitment process.
