ROLE As a Medical Radiation Technologist Nuclear Medicine, you will provide and maintain efficient and effective radiological service to the public in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Department.

As part of this role, you will; Perform a thorough and accurate nuclear medicine examination in a caring and professional manner.

Complete processing and analysis of images/information acquired.

Review processed data and images to ensure they are of diagnostic quality prior to submitting for reporting.

Identify various pathologies and acquire additional images when appropriate.

Provide thorough and accurate documentation for the interpreting physician.

Assist with cardiac stress testing as per established protocol. REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S) Successful completion of an approved MRT NM training program which includes both didactic teaching and supervised clinical experience.

Knowledge and experience with SPECT/CT imaging an asset.

Registration with the CMRITO as a Medical Radiation Technologist, Nuclear Medicine (RT-N) BMD experience is preferred Note: Registry eligible personnel may be offered a position prior to completion of registry examinations but must provide evidence of successful completion by date of hire. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S) Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nuclear medicine techniques in both theory and practice.

Sound knowledge of equipment and appropriate skills to operate equipment.





Knowledge and experience in the safe handling of radioactive substances.

Professional and effective communication skills when interacting with patients, staff members and clinicians.

Organizational and prioritization skills to perform required duties effectively and efficiently.
