Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience Tasks Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Survey building locations and levels Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Employment terms options Early morning Evening Employment terms options Shift Flexible hours Morning Weekend Support for newcomers and refugees Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees Does not require Canadian work experience Support for youths Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work setting for youth Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
