Markham, Ontario.
The successful candidate will support project delivery in accordance withMTO (Ministry of Transportation, Ontario) standards and procedureswhile gaining leadership experience in transportation infrastructure projects.

Job Description Assist in themanagement and coordinationof highway and roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with MTO specifications and standards.
Support thepreparation of engineering plans, specifications, and estimatesfor highway and transportation infrastructure projects.
Work closely with
Project Managers, Engineers, and Techniciansto ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Assist inproject scheduling, cost control, and liaison with the client during contract administration.
Participate inclient meetings and stakeholder coordination, ensuring effective communication between all parties.
Support projectrisk management, quality assurance, and compliancewith MTO and industry regulations.
Provide technical input forpreliminary and detail designphases.
Assist in thepreparation of reports, presentations, and proposalsfor project pursuits.
Develop an understanding ofbusiness development and proposal processesto support growth opportunities.
Other Responsibilities Help trackproject progress, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Coordinate with internal and external teams tosupport efficient project execution.
Assist inbudget management, invoicing, and financial reportingfor assigned projects.
Gain exposure toAECOMs project management certification processto develop leadership skills.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineeringor a related field. 4+ years of experiencein transportation engineering, highway design, or related infrastructure projects. PEng or PMP Preferred Qualifications .
Ideally 6+ years of experience in MTO highway/roadway projects, includingpreliminary and detail designfor transportation projects.
Strong understanding ofMTO standards, TAC guidelines, and transportation engineering principles.
Proficiency indesign softwaresuch as
Micro
Station, Open
Roads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Knowledge ofproject scheduling and management tools, such asMS Project or Primavera.
Strongorganizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience inclient coordination, report preparation, and proposal developmentis an asset.
Eligible for
Professional Engineer (P.
Eng.) licensing in Ontarioor already licensed.
Prior experience withbusiness development and proposal writingis a plus.
