Site Description: The 400 City Hall Square East building hosts multiple City of Windsor services and federal/provincial partner offices, creating steady public traffic throughout the day.

Security should monitor public counters, guide visitors between departments, manage high-volume periods, and maintain safety in a multi-agency facility with continuous foot traffic.

Key Responsibilities: Be able to comprehend and demonstrate competencies of City of Windsor and the Security policies and procedures with an ability to use a customer service approach Be able to keep an open and objective mind, remembering the citys diverse community.

Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns.

Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources.





Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Clients staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required.

Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the client, City of Windsor Performing other related duties as assigned by the city Prerequisites: Valid Security License for the province of Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider English (oral and written) fluency is a must Legally authorized to work in Canada Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability Why choose Paladin?
