Manager, Operations Finance - Manufacturing Langley, British Columbia Mac

Donald Search Group has been asked by our manufacturing client to recruit a Manager, Operations Finance to support financial performance across multiple production facilities.

This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement, helping drive profitability, cost transparency, and operational decision-making.

Some of what you will do: Lead standard costing, inventory costing, and cost accounting processes across multiple manufacturing sites Develop and maintain costing methodologies covering materials, labour, overhead, and inventory valuation Support pricing decisions through profitability analysis and product cost validation Analyze manufacturing variances and provide recommendations to improve operational performance Lead month-end activities related to inventory, costing, accruals, and operational financial reporting Partner with plant leadership teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Track operational performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities Support capital investment analysis, productivity initiatives, and continuous improvement projects Serve as a key finance business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, and plant leadership teams Drive standardization of finance processes,



reporting, and best practices across manufacturing locations Develop reporting tools and analytics that improve decision-making and financial visibility You should have the following: Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline 5+ years of progressive finance experience within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory management, and variance analysis Experience supporting plant operations, manufacturing leadership, or multi-site environments Advanced Excel and ERP system experience Robust analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with operational leaders CPA designation considered an asset Experience supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives is highly desirable What''s in it for you: Opportunity to join a well-established North American manufacturing organization High-impact role with visibility across operations, finance, and executive leadership Competitive compensation package in the $100,000-$115,000 range Comprehensive benefits and retirement savings program Opportunity to influence operational performance and drive meaningful business improvements Career growth within a multi-site manufacturing environment
