Our public sector client is seeking a Senior IT Risk Manager to coordinate enterprise IT risk governance using Power BI reporting and risk management frameworks Join a high-impact engagement supporting the IT risk governance mandate for a leading Canadian financial Crown corporation.

The role provides end-to-end oversight of IT risk documentation, assessment, mitigation tracking, and reporting across delivery teams and governance forums.

This position offers work from home flexibility and direct visibility in shaping enterprise risk transparency and decision-making.

The engagement runs from July to December .

Contract, Ottawa, Remote, Working Hours: EST Must Haves Reliability-level security clearance 5+ years in IT risk management , technology governance , or operational risk roles within complex or regulated environments 3+ years hands-on experience with Power BI , including PBIX files , DAX measures , and dashboard/report creation 3+ years delivering risk or governance reporting to senior leadership and executive forums,



including preparing presentations and briefing materials Nice to Have Experience maintaining an IT Risk Register for a large enterprise, ensuring data accuracy, categorization, and updates Experience developing risk reporting for senior leadership or governance forums Experience using risk tools such as Service

Now, Archer, or GRC platforms Exposure to governance-driven or regulated financial environments Knowledge of risk frameworks and lifecycle practices Responsibilities Administer and maintain the centralized IT Risk Register ensuring accuracy, categorization, and completeness Document risk causes, impacts, mitigations, owners, and target dates Monitor overdue actions and drive timely updates with risk owners Consolidate risk information from multiple teams into unified reporting views Prepare and deliver risk reporting packs highlighting top risks, trends, and mitigation effectiveness Support risk governance activities including escalation tracking and exception reporting Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and supporting documentation for IT Risk oversight
