The Opportunity You will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care to a diverse patient population, including outpatient consultations, pregnancy care, diagnosis and management of gynaecological conditions, and surgical procedures where appropriately credentialed.

You will collaborate with family physicians and healthcare professionals across a range of specialties, promoting integrated and coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions Providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care Managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies Performing outpatient diagnostic procedures and, where credentialed, surgical interventions Requesting and interpreting diagnostic investigations including laboratory tests and imaging Developing individualised treatment plans and ongoing patient management Providing specialist advice to referring healthcare professionals Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using electronic medical records Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including nursing staff, midwives and other specialists Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement and continuing professional development Candidate Requirements Applicants should: Hold a medical degree from a recognised medical school Have completed specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology Hold, or be eligible for, certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) Hold, or be eligible for, medical licensure in the Province of Alberta Be a member in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or be eligible to obtain membership Additional subspecialty training (such as Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, or Urogynaecology) would be advantageous but is not essential International specialists interested in relocating to Canada are encouraged to enquire, subject to licensing eligibility Why Calgary?
