About the Role We areseekinga highly skilled and hands-on

Financial Controllerto lead our accounting operations and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Reporting to theVP of Finance,the Financial Controller will oversee the monthly close process,maintainrobust internal controls, manage audit and compliance requirements, and partner cross-functionally to support the companysgrowth.

This is a critical role for a finance leader who combines strong technical accountingexpertisewith a pragmatic, operationalmindsetand the ability to build scalableprocesses byleveragingAI tools.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Canada only.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Close Own themonthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuringaccurateandtimelyfinancial statements.

Prepare and reviewfinancial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and cash flow reporting.





Develop andmaintaina robust documentation framework (policies, procedures, and schedules) to support reporting accuracy.

Accounting Operations Supervisecore accounting functions including: Accounts payable Accounts receivable and collections Payroll accounting Fixed assets and capitalization Expense management and corporate credit cards Maintainaccuratebooksand recordsto ensureconsistentandappropriateaccountingtreatment across transactions.

Internal Controls & Compliance Design, implement, andmonitorinternal controlsto mitigate risk and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with local and international accounting and tax obligations, including filings and remittances.

Supportand managefinancial and taxaudits.

Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and other finance partners.

Systems & Process Improvement Lead continuous improvement initiatives toincrease automationand use of AItoolstostreamlinethe processes andimprovequality.

Own andoptimizefinancialsystems.

Contributeto the implementation or refinement of new tools and systems as needed.

Team Leadership & Collaboration Manage and develop the accounting teamandbuild the function as the companyscales.





Collaborateclosely with otherfunctionsto ensure seamless financialdataworkflows.

Providesupport to operational teams on financial best practices and policy compliance.

Qualifications Required Bachelor''s degree in accounting,finance, orrelatedfield. CPA designation(or equivalent). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of close and reportingand team management Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRSand CADGAAP), including revenue recognition,consolidation,and multi-entity and multi-currency reporting Experience with audit and compliance processes and managing external advisors.

Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to solving problems.

Bilingual (English and French) Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions.
