The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Representative, Subrogation to join our team.

If you havestrongcustomer focus coupled with well-developed communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills, we''d like to know! Reporting to the National Subrogation Unit Team Leader, the Subrogation Representative is accountable toinvestigate andnegotiatethe recoveryowed to Definity from the responsible thirdparties.

These types of claims will include personal and commercial property and auto losses received from claims offices across Canada.

What to expect Review and analyze claims for subrogation potentialanddetermine the ultimate probable outcome of recovery Identify and pursue all potential responsible parties Prepare files and documents as well as determining the amount of recovery from the claims file Contact third parties,



third party insurers or lawyers to initiate settlement negotiations Manage subrogation related litigation matters across Canada, including file strategy and budget Participation in legal proceedings when required Managea large volume of claims files and other subrogation projects as needed Increase subrogation awareness and provide support to our claims partners across Canada What you bring AMF Personal insurance license (5b) required and Commercial insurance license (5a) required.

Must be bilingual in both written and spoken English/French 5+years of claims handing experiencerequired including subrogation,negotiationand litigationexperience University degree, a 2-year college diploma or working towards your CIP designation, would be an asset Proficient in Word & Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and courteous in all interactions Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly when required Salary Range: $59,300 - $109,200 High degree ofproficiencywith Englishrequiredto service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
