Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join the Finance Operations team at a major bank, supporting critical business processes and data governance activities.

This individual will work in a highly operational setting, assisting with process documentation, system maintenance, account setup, and reconciliation activities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of manual tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established processes.

Key responsibilities include:
• Documenting and maintaining operational processes and procedures
• Adding and maintaining new profit centres and accounts within internal systems
• Performing data reconciliation activities and investigating discrepancies
• Supporting day-to-day operational workflows and administrative processes
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency
• Managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Requirements
• 1-2 years of experience in a professional working environment as Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role (co-op experience will be considered)
• Ideally a university degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or similar
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Basic understanding of business operations, finance, or accounting concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
• Experience working with Excel macros or advanced Excel functionality
