Job description: Work location: Estrie / Beauce On-site (1 day remote) Position type: Permanent Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Qubec, is looking for an Accounting Director to join its leadership team.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, this individual will be central to the organizations financial operations and will play a strategic role in optimizing accounting practices.

Main Responsibilities: Lead the full accounting cycle, including the preparation of financial statements Ensure the integrity of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements Manage the organizations cash flow and financial risks Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process Oversee tax matters and coordinate external audits Coordinate insurance renewals and administer policies Participate in financing activities and manage credit agreements and financial assistance Optimize accounting processes, systems, and practices through technology Mobilize and lead a team of approximately 7 to 8 people Terms and Perks: Permanent position, on-site with one remote day per week Retirement savings plan (RRSP) with employer contribution Comprehensive group insurance Generous bonus program Relocation support available for candidates from outside the region Skills and qualifications: University degree in Accounting or Finance CPA required Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Proven experience in team management ERP (SAP an asset), Power BI and advanced Excel Experience with month-end closing and cost control Mobilizing leadership, financial rigor, and sound judgment Languages: Advanced French; Professional English
