Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O; Senior Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted advisor to external customers and BDO project teams in support of client D365 F&O; Managed Services engagements, with an approximately 75% support and 25% project-based focus.
- Analyze customer business needs and objectives and provide in-depth application expertise in targeted business areas.
- Streamline customer business processes to achieve greater ROI within the context of the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise Edition suite.
- Provide training to client staff to perform day‑to‑day activities in support of ERP implementations.
- Troubleshoot issues and reproduce them in a separate development environment.
- Utilize effective communication and listening skills with customers and colleagues to troubleshoot technology issues and provide guidance/support.
- Apply Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Methodology to assist customers in deploying the solutions in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 3‑5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O; managed services consulting and support experience, with strong expertise in the Supply Chain Management functional area.




- Knowledge of one or more other functional areas of D365 F&O; or another ERP product, such as Finance, Sales or Talent/Human Resources, is preferred.
- Previous experience working with a consulting firm is an asset but not required.
- Dynamics 365 F&O; /AX certifications in the relevant business disciplines will be considered.
- Self‑motivated, articulate, and able to inspire audiences.
- Process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience.
- Experience in working on functional design, configuration, and process alignment with a detailed understanding of Finance concepts and general module functionality.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles or working in an operational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpretive skills.
- Highly organized and able to work well under pressure from clients and team.
- Adaptable and adaptable to change, with a commitment to learning new skills.
- Ability to function as a committed team player.

Compensation

Expected annual range: $84,000 - $128,000.
