Position Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Custodian to maintain the cleanliness of both the manufacturing facility and office areas. This position plays an important role in ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Clean production areas, offices, lunchrooms, washrooms, and other common areas
- Monitor facility cleanliness and replenish supplies as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the shift
- Assist with general housekeeping duties in both the plant and office
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with coworkers and supervisors
- Ability to identify different types of concrete products by size, colour, and design is considered an asset
Working Environment
- Indoor and outdoor work in a manufacturing/construction-type environment
- Fast-paced workplace
- Dusty and noisy conditions
- 8-hour day shift
- Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required
