Position Summary

Brighter Staffing Agency is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a rapid-paced setting while supporting the kitchen team with professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Sort, organize, and store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station, kitchen, and storage areas.
- Remove garbage and recycling, clean waste containers, and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify the supervisor when inventory requires replenishment.
- Assist kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow during service periods.




- Sweep and mop floors, clean work surfaces, and perform general cleaning duties as required.
- Support the kitchen team with additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar food service role is an asset.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
