HR Administrator (People & Culture)

About the Role
Targeted Talent is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support our growing People & Culture team.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in Human Resources and People & Culture. You will play a key role in ensuring recruitment, onboarding, employee reviews, training initiatives, and HR programs run smoothly and efficiently.
Working closely with the People & Culture team, recruiters, and business leaders, you will help maintain accurate employee records, coordinate key HR processes, and contribute to a positive employee experience across the organization.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of HR functions while developing the skills and experience needed for future growth within the People & Culture team.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Interview Coordination
- Schedule candidate interviews and coordinate calendars across hiring teams.
- Book meeting rooms, video conference links, and interview resources.
- Communicate interview details to candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Send reminders and ensure interview processes run smoothly.
Employee Reviews & HR Program Support
- Coordinate performance review meetings and related documentation.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, leadership development programs, and training sessions.
- Support logistics for workshops, meetings, and internal events.
HR Administration & Data Management
- Maintain employee records and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Process employee data changes within HR systems.
- Support onboarding and offboarding administration.
- Assist with periodic audits of employee files and documentation.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and HR-related documents.
- Maintain organized digital records and archives.
- Track policy acknowledgements and required employee documentation.
- Support compliance and audit-related activities.
General Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture team.
- Help coordinate projects and initiatives across multiple departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or office coordination experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Professional, confidential, and service-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting recruitment or HR processes.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or employee management systems.
- Working toward or interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
