Our client is seeking a part-time Project Manager to oversee a grant-funded sustainability/facilities initiative involving building upgrades (Hybrid/Remote, Edmonton AB).

Overview:

This role will manage a third-party grant-funded project focused on energy retrofits and building/facilities upgrades, with heavy emphasis on audit-ready documentation, structured financial reporting, and cross-departmental coordination.

Must-Haves:

- 7+ years of experience in Project Management within the facilities/capital domain
- Grant compliance and audit experience, managing projects funded by third-party grants (e.g., ERA/Enerva), including maintaining audit-ready documentation and detailed reporting
- Sustainability / built workplace domain knowledge, including energy retrofits, HVAC, or carbon reduction initiatives
- Rigorous financial invoicing, structured,



detailed invoices broken down by project applications, rates, and hours to satisfy grant reimbursement requirements

Nice-to-Haves:

- Strong diplomatic/stakeholder management skills across disparate departments (Sustainability, Finance, Properties/Facilities)

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day delivery of the grant-funded building upgrades project on a 0.5 FTE basis
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and detailed reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Produce structured, detailed invoices broken down by application, rate, and hours for grant reimbursement
- Coordinate and communicate across Sustainability, Finance, and Properties/Facilities stakeholders
- Sustain project momentum independently given the part-time/fractional schedule
