Join the University of Toronto Mississauga as a 3rd Class Building Engineer, focusing on the safe operation and maintenance of utilities equipment. You will manage the Central Utilities Plant’s operation and respond to emergency situations throughout the UTM campus. If you have mechanical expertise and a service-oriented mindset, this is the right fit for you. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine mechanical inspections and temperature checks
- Perform running maintenance and emergency repairs




- Maintain logs of equipment operations and breakdowns
- Oversee fire alarm and emergency lighting testing
- Collaborate with outside contractors on repairs Requirements:
- High School diploma plus 3rd Class Operating Engineer Certification
- Minimum 1 year operating engineer experience
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
