Accountants & Advisors (www.stolzgallant.ca) is a growing accounting and advisory firm (Stolz CPA Inc. is the assurance division) providing professional public accounting, assurance, and tax services to small businesses, individuals, not-for-profit organizations, and Indigenous communities across British Columbia.

QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping engagements Our continued double-digit growth has resulted in us moving to a larger office space (yet to be announced), and we are looking to expand our team of nine professionals. This position requires a CPA designation and at least five years of public practice experience. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on involvement in complex assurance and tax engagements.

As an ideal candidate, you work efficiently and are adept at preparing and reviewing compilation, review, and audit engagements,



with a thorough understanding of financial reporting frameworks for Canadian not-for-profit organizations, private enterprises, and Indigenous communities. You are comfortable completing and reviewing engagements with minimal supervision, communicating effectively with clients, and mentoring team members at all levels. You have exceptional attention to detail, take pride in producing high-quality work, and are mindful of budgets and deadlines.

Modern Technology and Processes - Leverage industry-leading software and cloud-based tools that enable efficient and high-quality client service. Responsibilities

Review assurance, compilation, bookkeeping, and tax engagements prepared by staff to ensure compliance with professional standards and firm quality requirements.

Manage engagements by overseeing timelines, budgets, workflow, and client communications.

Prepare and review complex assurance engagements, including audits, reviews, and compilations.

Prepare and review complex tax engagements, including personal, corporate, charity, and partnership tax returns.

Assist the Partners with special consulting and advisory projects.

Mentor, coach, and train junior staff.

Build and maintain trusted client relationships through responsive and professional communication.

Contribute positively to the firm's culture and ongoing development. Who We're Looking For

CPA designated in Canada with 5+ years of public practice experience.

Strong technical skills in assurance and tax engagements.

Proven ability to review files and provide constructive feedback to staff.

Energetic work ethic with a commitment to both productivity and work-life balance.

Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.

Robust communication and interpersonal skills that contribute to a positive learning workplace.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Strong English writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). Benefits

Annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.

Vacation starting at three weeks annually.
