Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Accounting role located in Brigden, ON. The team member will handle day‑to‑day accounting activities, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, recording and posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities include using accounting software to process invoices, track expenses, manage accounts payable and receivable,



and support payroll and month‑end close processes. The role will also assist with budgeting, financial reporting for management, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Collaboration with project managers, operations, and leadership to provide timely financial information and support decision‑making is an important part of this position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Finance for accurate reporting and analysis.

- Candidates should possess proficiency with Accounting Software and Journal Entries (Accounting) for daily transaction processing and recordkeeping.

- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support business decisions.

- Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional designation (e.g., CPA or in progress) is an asset.

- Experience in construction, industrial, or contracting environments is beneficial.

- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines on site.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

- Working knowledge of relevant accounting standards and basic tax considerations applicable to corporate environments.
