The Adjudication Unit has a current opportunity for an Adjudication Representative to join the team at ICBC’s Victoria Operations Office. This role plays a key part in supporting driver licensing decision‑making and ensuring the fair and consistent application of adjudication processes.

Position Overview

The Adjudication Representative provides administrative and adjudicative support for programs related to the intervention of driver behaviour. This role reviews legal and licensing documentation, determines appropriate adjudication actions, maintains accurate records, and responds to enquiries from customers and external stakeholders in accordance with legislation, policy, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Review legal, court, and licensing documentation and determine appropriate adjudication or intervention actions
- Process prohibition, probation, appeal, dispute, and impersonation files,



including coordination with courts and law enforcement
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute adjudication‑related correspondence and maintain complete documentation
- Update driver records and departmental systems accurately and in a timely mannerRespond to customers, court, police, and legal enquiries related to adjudication decisions and driving records
- Escalate complex or sensitive cases to supervisors or reviewing officers as required

Position Requirements

- High school graduation or equivalent, plus a few years of related administrative or adjudication experience
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures related to driver licensing and adjudication
- Experience using databases and corporate systems to retrieve, update, and maintain records
- Robust analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in standard office software and keyboarding
