Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic After School Programs Supervisor to oversee and coordinate after-school activities for children in our community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's development while managing engaging educational and recreational activities.

Duties

- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement engaging educational activities.
- Coordinate daily schedules, including recreational activities, arts and crafts, and group games
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and personal growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and behavior.
- Maintain a clean and organized program space,



adhering to safety guidelines and policies.
- Collaborate with team members to plan special events or themed activities that enhance the program experience.

Experience

- Prior experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is preferred
- Background in tutoring, and early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Background as a camp counsellor or after school programs leader is highly desirable and preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to engage children in learning activities while maintaining discipline and safety
- Experience in supervising groups of children and managing classroom or activity environments effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and team members professionally
