Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M) - ACA - North (#1007) Location: Montréal, QC, Canada Role overview and responsibilities for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer employed by Air Inuit.

Responsibilities include repairs and line maintenance on the fleet under supervision of the Senior Base Engineer or Base Engineer.

Overview Are you a meticulous problem-solver with a passion for aviation? If so, join Air Inuit and help keep our fleet ready to conquer the skies. You will carry out repairs and line maintenance on Air Inuit’s fleet under supervision.

Key Responsibilities - Perform work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins or other approved schemes in accordance with accepted practices and the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM).

- Complete routine and scheduled maintenance on a variety of aircraft.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations.
- Record and sign out all items of work on the applicable Maintenance Control forms.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work.
- Maintain in valuable order AMO facilities, including shop, store, library and surroundings.
- Aircraft de-icing: remove ice and snow from aircraft surfaces to ensure safety and performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and apprentices.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests with efficiency and expertise.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks aligned with departmental operational needs.

Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.

- valid M1 & M2 license. Preference for endorsements on 737-200/300/800, DHC8, DHC6. If not held, Air Inuit provides necessary endorsements.
- Successful completion of the qualifying exam for AMO certification privileges.
- Knowledge of MPM, MCM,



aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals relevant to duties.
- Ability to work autonomously with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work in remote locations and adapt to varying weather conditions.

Compensation - Salary and benefits determined in accordance with corporate policy.

- Entry hourly salary: $45.96 Working Conditions - When traveling to a northern base: accommodations, meals, work uniforms and travel between Montréal and bases (La Grande or Kuujjuaq) provided.
