Assistant Deputy Minister, Legal Services Filling one (1) permanent full-time position We build strong and healthy relationships with others to support good governance and to foster safe communities. Reporting to the Deputy Minister, the Assistant Deputy Minister provides executive level direction to the branches of the Legal Services division and provides senior level legal advice to departments. The ideal candidate will be a senior member of the bar who has significant public or private sector experience in human resource management, fiscal management and policy development.

Significant experience as a private or public sector lawyer; Solid executive-level experience in the public and/or private sector; Theoretical base in leadership and public sector administration, including strategic planning, human resources, and financial management; As an ideal candidate, you will have a proven record of success as a strategic, influential and service-oriented leader who has effectively committed and applied resources to achieve positive and meaningful results. You balance multiple priorities in a complex, multi-disciplinary and often high-profile work environment while building effective relationships within your department, across the territorial government and externally (with federal, provincial/territorial, municipal and First Nations governments). Through visionary leadership, political acumen, resilience and a willingness to take calculated risks, you integrate and operationalize significant and quick paced change.
