The Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia–Vancouver campus (psych.ubc.ca) encourages applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in clinical psychology, with anticipated position start date of July 1, 2027.

We are seeking applicants with robust research records appropriate to a research-oriented CPA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology. We are looking for an outstanding candidate in any areaofclinical psychology, but would be especially excited to welcome a new colleague whose research addresses mental health in underserved or marginalized populations to complement ongoing work in our clinical program and department (https://psych.ubc.ca/people/). The successful candidate will join our team in the clinical program in producing scholarly research that leads to publication, conducting effective undergraduate and graduate teaching, providing clinical and research supervision, and contributing to departmental service.

Prior to the position start date, the successful applicant will have been awarded a PhD from an accredited clinical psychology program and will be ready to conduct a program of research within clinical psychology. The successful applicant will also be licensed or license-eligible in British Columbia.

The deadline for applications is October 1, 2026. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. The expected pay range for this position is $10,000/month – $11,167/month. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
