We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager for our Lindt Chocolate Shop in Tsawwassen Mills. The ideal candidate must possess solid communication skills and a passion for sales and merchandising.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the management of the daily operations of the Lindt Chocolate Shop
- Support the generation and growth of corporate sales
- Uphold the values of exemplary customer service by modeling appropriate behaviours and establishing clear service standards
- Monitor sales performance and labour requirements daily to maximize store profitability without compromising customer service
- Assist with recruitment activities including interviewing and hiring Retail Sales Associates
- Supervise store employees to maximize customer service, sales, and profitability
- Support training on sales techniques and product knowledge
- Order merchandise and supplies in a timely manner with a focus on inventory management and loss prevention




- Reconcile daily cash with sales receipts and complete daily paperwork, payroll, accounting, and store administration tasks
- Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of products and sales data to achieve sales targets while controlling expenses
- Support ongoing performance management, including assisting with employee performance reviews
- Maintain store merchandising presentation in line with company standards
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food and product safety
- Manage cash handling, inventory ordering, and related retail administrative duties

Requirements and Qualifications

- Post-secondary education
- Minimum of five years of experience in retail sales, including management or supervisory experience
- Experience in inventory control and order management
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail management role with 2
