OK Tire – Ewing Automotive Ltd. is hiring an experienced and dependable Automotive Journeyperson Technician for our new location in southwest Edmonton.

We are looking for a skilled automotive technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to providing professional and reliable service to customers.

The successful candidate will perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and drivability concerns.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and general automotive repairs.
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling system, and small engine repairs.
- Use diagnostic scanners and shop equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
- Conduct road tests before and after repairs when required.
- Document inspection findings, repairs, parts, and labour accurately.
- Communicate professionally with service advisors and other team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company procedures and workplace safety requirements.




- Complete assigned repairs accurately and within appropriate labour times.

Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson Certificate.
- Previous automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
- Knowledge of modern automotive electrical and computer systems.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
