The opportunity

We currently have career opportunities for consultants and senior consultants in our Canadian banking technology consulting team. We work collaboratively with top executives in financial institutions of all sizes and scales, helping them create and realize the best solutions for the future of their business. Each project is different, so you’ll need to be able to excel in ambiguous situations and navigate ever‑changing circumstances. We’ll look for a self‑starter who can translate complex information into simple terms and deliver long‑term solutions with confidence.

Key responsibilities

As a senior consultant, you will work with clients and collaborate with your team of data, technology professionals, and/or third‑party strategic alliances to deliver strategic technology‑enabled transformations, technology risk remediation, and major digital implementations.

Skills and attributes for success

Experience in business development or delivering against financial targets in a service‑oriented context is a plus.

Demonstrated teamwork, project management, organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the willingness and ability to learn and work independently with minimal supervision. You enjoy working with large teams in complex contexts, delivering strategic technology‑enabled transformations and major digital implementations.
- Great communicators. Communication is key — we strive to bring our best interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, whether we’re writing an e‑mail, building a proposal, drafting an architecture diagram, or cutting code.

Qualifications

- 3‑5 years of financial industry experience, particularly working with banks or credit unions or in a consulting capacity focused on banking.
- Experience delivering projects or programs, building relationships, and supporting team development. This includes generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients.
- Led the development and execution of systems integration projects and roadmaps.
- Facilitated stakeholder communication, ensuring clear and effective collaboration between business and technical teams.

Ideally you’ll also have

- Progression toward a Project Management certification is an asset.
- Prior experience working with technology risk remediation.
- Experience in conducting in‑depth analysis of business requirements and translating them into detailed system specifications.
- Experience in collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design and implement technology solutions in the financial services industry.
- Past project experiences using agile methodology practices & driving iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.

Salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
- Toronto: $64,000 to $96,000
