The Controllership team is seeking a motivated finance technology professional to support digital transformation initiatives and deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision‑making across our organization.

Position Summary

We are looking for a talented Senior Analyst to join our Finance Technology and Innovation function, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Finance Technology and Innovation. This role requires a detail‑oriented problem‑solver with strong finance operations knowledge and hands‑on technology skills. The ideal candidate is eager to work with emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to streamline processes, support cost reduction, and deliver measurable business value while working closely with senior team members to execute the team’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation Support

- Support finance technology transformation initiatives that align with organizational strategic goals
- Partner with the Controllership Operations team to identify opportunities for technology‑enabled process improvements
- Assist with change management efforts to support smooth adoption of new technologies and processes
- Help track progress against the technology roadmap for the Controllership and broader Finance organization

Technology Implementation

- Research and evaluate emerging technologies including Agents, AI/ML, automation tools, and advanced analytics platforms
- Support the delivery of technology projects that improve efficiency, compliance, accuracy, and operational insights
- Participate in innovation programs that encourage experimentation and adoption of emerging technologies
- Prepare analysis and recommendations for finance leadership on technology and process enhancement opportunities

Collaboration & Development

- Work alongside team members on project workstreams, contributing analysis and execution support
- Contribute to a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growth
- Coordinate effectively across stakeholder groups and competing priorities




- Continue developing capabilities in emerging technologies and modern solutioning practices

Process Improvement & Compliance

- Help design and implement finance process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase operational effectiveness
- Support technology solutions in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal control requirements
- Assist in maintaining frameworks for internal controls and global policy compliance
- Support Internal Audit, SOX, and compliance teams with audit readiness activities

Stakeholder Engagement

- Communicate technology solutions and project updates to stakeholders across Finance and IT
- Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible summaries for non‑technical audiences
- Support customer demonstrations and internal presentations showcasing cutting-edge solutions
- Build strong working relationships across Finance, IT, and Operations

Experience

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in finance operations, technology delivery, or related fields
- Experience supporting or contributing to technology projects or initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to deliver assigned work on time and to a high standard
- Experience working in global organizations with distributed teams across multiple regions is a plus
- Familiarity with prototyping AI solutions, testing machine learning models, and wrangling small/medium‑sized datasets
- Exposure to Salesforce (Agents, Tableau, Slack, Einstein, Data Cloud, etc.) preferred
- Exposure to Snowflake preferred

Technical Expertise

- Solid understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements
- Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and interest in applying them to business problems
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau or similar), Python, and contemporary ERP systems
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake is a plus
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce platform and/or custom application development is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Progress toward or interest in professional certifications such as CPA, or relevant technology certifications
- Early exposure to presenting work to internal stakeholders or teams
- Interest in early adoption and implementation of emerging technologies
- Previous experience in SaaS, technology, or fast‑paced growth companies is a plus

Compensation

For Ontario‑based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is CAD 88,400 to CAD 121,600 annually. This range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
