Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic ECE/ECEA to join our Before/After School team. In this role, you will create a secure, engaging, and nurturing workplace for children before and after school hours. This is a permanent job with the split shifts in the morning and afternoon.

Duties

- Supervise children during before and after school periods, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development

- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns

- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and curiosity

- Assist with daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and transition activities between different parts of the day

- Ensure adherence to all safety policies, licensing regulations, and program standards

Requirements





- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is a must

- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices

- Ability to engage children through play, and other interactive activities

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and connect with families

- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive learning environment

- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a must
- A genuine passion for early childhood development and helping children reach their full potential

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
