Job Details:

We are looking for :

- Full Time Registered Early Childhood Educators
- Full Time Early Childhood Assistants

To join our Kindergarten & School Age Before and After Programs at our Ajax & Oshawa locations.

Kids’ Campus Offers:

Full time employment (35 hours per week) Monday to Friday

Benefit Package after 6-month probationary period

Paid Personal Days after 6-month probationary period

Hours of Work:

Before and After School Hours - Split Shift 35 hours a week

*Must have availability to work split hours every day, Monday to Friday, between 6:30am-6:30pm.

Winter Break, March Break, Summer and PA Days - Full Days 35-40 Hours

Wage Details:

Registered Early Childhood Educators : $28.00 per hour

Early Childhood Assistants : $22.50 per hour

Requirements:

Responsible for the constant supervision, safety and well being of the children

Acknowledges and responds to the needs of each child

Uses a variety of teaching techniques including role modelling, observing, questioning

Ability to develop and implement a program that follows the lead of the children and creates an inclusive and stimulating environment to encourage each child to explore and learn on various topics of interest.

Maintains open and regular communication with co-workers

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written

Demonstrates skills working as a team player

Upholds regular communication with families

Ensure the classroom operates in compliance with childcare licencing standards

Maintains and ensures all records including but not limited to attendance, accidents reports, daily programming are completed on a daily basis

Maintain confidentiality at all times

Attend and participate in all program /centre meetings and events as required

RECE Qualifications:

Early Childhood Educator Diploma or Degree (RECE)

Registered with the College of ECE and in good standings

Knowledge of Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Durham Region Operating Criteria (DROC)





An understanding of How Does Learning Happen? and ELECT

Valid Certificate for CPR and Standard First Aid

Up to date immunizations including 2 step TB (Tuberculosis) test.

Current Criminal background check including vulnerable sector

Early Childhood Assistant Qualifications :

Valid Certificate for CPR and Standard First Aid

Up to date immunizations including 2 step TB (Tuberculosis) test.

Criminal background check including vulnerable sector

Early Childhood Education Assistant diploma or Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years act is considered an asset
