About Us

KIDO Education Centre is a newly licensed Before & After School Care program located inside McKay Elementary School in Richmond.

We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow through creative activities, outdoor play, STEM exploration, arts & crafts, and positive relationships.

We are looking for passionate educators to join our growing team.

Position

Before & After School Educator

Part-Time

Working Hours (may vary)

Morning Shift

7:55 AM – 8:55 AM

Afternoon Shift

2:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Additional hours may be available on:

- Pro-D Days
- Early Dismissal Days

Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure children's safety
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities
- Support homework and quiet reading time
- Organize arts & crafts, STEM, games and outdoor play
- Communicate professionally with families




- Maintain a clean and welcoming classroom
- Follow Licensing Regulations and KIDO policies

Qualifications We welcome applicants who are:
- ECE, ECEA or Responsible Adult
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Experience working with school-age children is an asset
- Positive, caring and reliable
- Team player with strong communication skills
