$75,000 - $85,000Brampton, ON (on-site)$75,000 - $85,000Are you passionate about food safety but equally interested in the people side of creating change?A growing food manufacturing organization in Brampton is looking for anFSQA Culture Specialistwho can bring food safety programs to life across the business.This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-moving organization where you can take ownership, continue building your expertise, and make a visible impact on how food safety is understood and practised every day.Reporting to theDirector of FSQA, you will work closely with employees and leaders across Production, Operations, Sanitation, Maintenance, and other areas of the business. Your role will extend beyond maintaining programs and preparing for audits. You will help create understanding, build commitment, and strengthen a shared culture of food safety throughout the organization.What You’ll Have The Opportunity To DoChampion a positive and sustainable food safety culture across the organizationBuild trusted relationships with employees, supervisors, and department leadersHelp employees understand the purpose behind food safety expectations and how their work contributes to protecting the product, customer, and businessWin over employees who may initially be uncertain or resistant to new processesTake ownership of assigned FSQA programs, procedures, and documentationCoordinate internal, customer, certification, and regulatory auditsSupport audit preparation, corrective actions, follow-up, and continuous improvementWork collaboratively with Operations to identify practical and sustainable solutionsInvestigate non-conformances and food safety concerns, including root cause and corrective action activitiesDeliver engaging food safety training and reinforce expectations through ongoing coachingIdentify opportunities to strengthen systems, reduce risk, and improve day-to-day practicesHelp ensure programs remain effective, current,
and audit-readyWhat You’ll BringYou have experience in food safety or quality assurance within a food manufacturing workplace and a solid understanding of food safety programs, audits, and compliance requirements.Just As Importantly, You AreApproachable, credible, and comfortable working with people at every level of an organizationAble to explain technical requirements in a practical and relatable wayConfident addressing concerns and holding firm when food safety is at riskSkilled at building support for change rather than relying on policy or authority aloneOrganized, curious, and motivated to take ownership of your workExperience with HACCP, GMPs, preventive controls, corrective actions, and a GFSI-recognized food safety standard will help you succeed in the role.
