Biotech Health Data Governance Lead (AI Training) About The Role What if your expertise in biotech data governance could directly shape how AI understands and works with clinical research data — influencing discoveries that affect millions of patients worldwide? We're looking for a Biotech Health Data Governance Lead to ensure that research and clinical trial data is accurate, traceable, compliant, and ready to power cutting-edge AI models and regulatory submissions. This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role built for experienced professionals in life sciences, clinical research, or regulated data environments.

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Govern biotech research and clinical trial data to ensure accuracy, lineage, and full auditability for scientific analysis and regulatory submissions

Define and enforce data policies covering classification, access controls, security standards, and metadata management across research, clinical, regulatory, and partner teams

Enable secure, governed data access for analytics, innovation pipelines, and external collaborations — while protecting confidential and patient-related information

Evaluate and improve data quality frameworks used to support AI model training in life sciences contexts

Collaborate with scientific, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to align data standards, workflows,



and governance practices Who You Are Experienced in leading or implementing data governance programs within biotech, life sciences, clinical research, or another regulated data environment

Deeply familiar with data privacy, security, and compliance requirements — including regulatory expectations for clinical trial and research data

Skilled at working across cross-functional teams — from bench scientists to IT architects to compliance officers

Detail-oriented and systematic, with a track record of building trustworthy, audit-ready data ecosystems

Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment Nice to Have Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training data pipelines

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ICH E6 GCP, or HIPAA

Background in data architecture, metadata management, or master data management in a life sciences context
