General Description

Reporting to the Resort President, the Boat Captain will drawon a record of protected and efficient ship handling and ensure safe, efficient andreliable service to charterer guests on our Ferretti Craft SRL, Pontoon Boatand other water craft as required.

Qualifications & Requirements - MasterLimited 60 Gross Tons or more - SVMOconsidered an asset - SENLimited - MarineEmergency Duties A1,



A2 or A3 - ROC-MCRadio Certificate - CurrentMarine Medical - MarineBasic First Aid - Previouscommercial passenger vessel experience considered an asset Responsibilities - OperateTransport Canada Inspected Passenger Vessels in a manner that insures theSafety and Security of the Crew, Enjoyment of the Passengers, and Respect forthe Environment.

- OurCaptains and Mates have public contact; therefore, we are looking forindividuals who take pride in their appearance and have quality guest service& communication skills. A adaptable schedule is a must. Schedule includesevenings, weekends and holidays.
- Directlysupervise Crew Members in all areas of Marine Transportation Safety andTraining.
- Routinelyconduct Emergency Drills and Safety Training/Inspections in accordance withTransport Canada regulations and company policy.
- MaintainVessel Operations and Maintenance Logs, Personnel Reports, and all other Ship’sBusiness records.
- Thoroughconformance with federal and/or company standards, rules, regulations, andsafety guidelines is essential to successful performance in this position.
