Start Date: September 1, 2026 End Date: December 22, 2026 Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school on all student attendance days;

Regular cleaning of the bus;

Adherence to safe bus driving procedures;

Compliance with all personal protective equipment procedures;

Advising parents of route changes;

Regularly communicating with school Administration and Transportation Department personnel regarding student conduct; Conducting daily vehicle inspections as required by The Traffic Safety Act;

Ensuring bus maintenance standards are being maintained and mechanical deficiencies are reported to the bus garage in a timely manner; Providing casual employees with an orientation to your bus, bus route and rules specific to your route;

Possess and maintain a satisfactory driver’s abstract;

Pay range: $15,057.50 to $16,391.67 per hour base wage + $0.2690 per KM (over 80 km driven) and bus expense allowances. Estimated route approximately 262 KM's.

Once the medical is completed and approved, you can book your written exam with SGI.

Book your road test with SGI.
