Dynamics 365 F&O; Functional Consultant – Dynamics AX, AX2012, D365 F&O;, Dynamics365 F&O;, D365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics365 Finance & Operations, D365 F&SCM;, D365 Finance & Supply Chain, Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, Functional Analyst, Functional Consultant, AP, Account payable, AR, Account receivable, GL, General ledger- CAD110-130 per hour (T4) – Chicago

Our end user client is looking for an experienced D365 F&O; Functional Consultant to join them on a contract basis as part of their upgrade to D365 F&O.; This role is responsible for representing business interests, ensuring that finance-related requirements are accurately reflected in the D365 solution, and validating vendor-delivered designs and configurations. The consultant will work closely with Finance stakeholders, ERP Business Analysts, and implementation partners, and will actively engage in D365 environments to support testing, validation, and issue resolution.

The role will typically involve 2-3 days per week on-site in Toronto– so candidates must be willing/able to work on-site on a regular basis at their own cost.

Key Skills & Experience:

- At least 5 year’s experience working in D365 F&O; with a Finance focus.
- Strong D365 Finance configuration skills are a must. Operations and CE is a plus.
- Robust functional knowledge of financial processes and reporting.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into ERP system requirements.
- Experience reviewing and validating ERP designs, configurations, and testing artifacts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working hands-on in ERP environments while maintaining a business-focused perspective.

Location: Toronto
